Reasons to pass this class.
Why should I pass this class? I ask myself, and without even thinking hard about it, the first reason that comes to my mind is that I do not want to take more classes that are not part of my degree plan. The true is that there are more reasons than just that one. First, I have learned to write different types of essays; I understand their purpose, and how to properly write them. Second, I have learned a lot about grammar punctuation, sentence structure, times, etc. I have to admit that my grammar still not excellent, but I hope it will get better as I write more and more everyday.Third, I have complied with all my writing assignments, attendance, participation, midterm, and final tests as required by the class syllabus. In other words, my final reason to pass this class is because I fill ready to start on my degree and write whatever they want me to write about without any problems.

Kidnapped for 7 years. Part II.
Ingrid Betancourt is a very strong woman; she has survive 7 years in extremely poor living conditions, in the middle of the jungle, and without contact to her family. Ones in a while The FARC send photos or videos to the news to prove that she is still alive, but pictures and videos are not enough for her family to stop thinking what is going to happen to her, and if they will be able to be with her again. Recent news said that she might be sick of hepatitis so the government is trying to set up a team of doctors that are willing to go were she is and give her the professional treatment that she needs. The hardest part of this plan is to find an strategic place were the doctors can meet with the guerrillas so they can be taken to the place were Ingrid is kept. All we can do is to wait for this plan to take effect and hope is not to late to help her.

Kidnapped for 7 years
Ingrid Betancourt was the first woman to run for President of The Republic of Colombia. Unfortunately, she was kidnapped by The FARC, a revolutionary movement from the country, in 2002. She was doing her campaign at a small town, somewhere in the south, were military support was not available so the guerrilla movement took advantage of that and took her away from her freedom, family, and life. She has two children that are still hoping to see their mother again, and sadly her father died of a heart attack months after she was kidnapped.Right now,The Colombian and French governments are trying to negotiate with The FARC and deal for her liberation, but it has been really difficult for both sites to come to a mutual agreement.

New life.
Have you ever though about how humans are created? and I am not talking about the sexual part because we all know that process very well. I am talking about the process that goes inside a woman body for nine months; the hormones going crazy, cells getting together and creating new organs, the transformation of a woman body so all these process can take place and life can begin. It is amazing that such a complicated machine, "the human body", is created in just 9 months. I tried to understand it from the scientific point of view, but there are gaps that cannot be clearly explained. Then, I look it up from the religious point of view and it becomes clear to me that such a perfect work of art can only be done by the hand of God, and the scientific theory is just a complex explanation in words of the miracle of life.

Got a new car.
Good news for me Ladies and Gentlemen,
after looking around almost two weeks for a good car for my lovely wife; we have found it.
It is a white Mitsubishi Lancer, 4 doors, and tinted windows with less than 30000 miles and for a really good price.
The car's overall condition is excellent; it drives like new, and the exterior does not have any scratches or bumps. Another good thing about this car is the great fuel efficiency, which I personally believe it is very important because of the high fuel prices we are seeing now.
Well, that's it for me today.
See you all in class.

The Island
It has been 33 days since I wreck my boat to a sharp underwater formation near this desert island of the Atlantic. The crack on the hull was so big that the boat sank within 30 minutes. I barely had time to grab some food, cloths, and to get the life raft ready. Two days later, I woke up on shore in an island that I did not know. It was sunrise, and the first thing I noticed was the huge palm trees, and the river with crystal clear water that ended on the ocean. The first day, I was so exhausted that I built a small tent, got some water, and went to sleep until the blasting heat of the sun in the afternoon woke me up. I was feeling better now, so I decided to get familiar with the island, find some food, and maybe make a fire to call the attention of ships passing by. Fish is very easy to catch in the river so I have no problems with food, but what I thought was going to help me get out of here is not working, because nobody has seen the smoke signals that I have made every day. Anyway I am not going to lose hope, and I will continue making the fires until one day somebody sees it and come to my rescue.

My name
Hello class. Today, I am going to talk a little bit about my name which, if you do not know it yet, is Julio Cesar. It was complicated to find the meaning to both of my names, but after looking around for a while I found somethings that may be interesting. Fisrt, according to different sources my first name means "Youthful", and I definitly dig that because nothing better than feel young no matter how old you get. My second name is suppose to mean "long Haired" and, to be honest with you, I do not get it because I am actually going bold, so the long haired thing is a lie. Julio Cesar is also the name of a Great leader of the Roman Empire; he was one of the more influencial men in the world history for the transformation of the Roman Republic. He was killed at the age of 56 BC, not cool. Then, there is this other Julio Cesar of the present, and he is the Goaslkeeper of the Inter Milan, same position I play every weekend in Virginia Beach, and he is good too. Now if you want to check some of the saves he did last season, just click on this address to check it out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfddCJsXGY8 This is all I got to say about my names I hope you found it interesting, see you in class.
